Sports and science camp, grade 2d through the eyes of students …

Our trip started around 6:00 am when the alarm clock sounded in 30 students’ homes. A quick breakfast, a morning toilet, put the last things in the suitcase and go to Galeria Kazimierz.

The bus set off as scheduled at 7:45, full of luggage, smiles and students’ hopes for passing maths at least positively.

Immediately after their arrival (as befits the students of maths), everyone went to an hour of maths, and then another … And maybe one more. The weather didn’t spoil us, but we bravely drew graph after graph. There was also physical activity – during the breaks between classes with Professor Gurdek and meals, we enthusiastically participated in team games and gyms. Mrs. Włodarczyk made sure that both the mind and body were in shape.

After an eight-hour sleep, the second day and another adventure with math has come! Colorful pens in hand, notebooks under the arm, tea for the other hand. The time has come for the next hours spent in the conference room and a meeting with the transformations of functions. You may think that after 6 hours of math your students will be fed up, but you don’t know 2d. Out of our sympathy for the Professor and our love of science, we spent even our free time on consultations and jointly doing tasks in planimetry.

Our trip ended with a three-part test, which, as you can expect, everyone wrote with flying colors;) … Or at least according to their abilities! After a three-hour effort, a warm dinner was waiting for us, and then, unfortunately, a return to the gray reality …

Certainly, the whole 2D class will remember the trip to Zakrzów for a long time.

The reportage was prepared by Małgosia Pawlik.

Science and film camp, class 2c

On October 25-27, a 2ndC class film, science and theater camp took place in Zakrzów. The extremely charming place allowed us, in addition to holding history and hair lessons, to organize film evenings and theater games.

Time was passing very intensively – as part of the scientific classes, we listened to a very interesting lecture by our friend Ania about Roman emperors and debated on current topics as part of the vote. An extremely interesting experience was the project prepared by Daria, who organized our LARP, a kind of role-playing game played live. It is a form of fun, similar to an improvised theatrical play that took us in for over 2 hours! The film knowledge quiz also aroused a lot of emotions – the girls did their best, because they prepared 90 questions, and the emotions accompanied us until the very end. In our free time, we played board games or we had a good time singing by the fire.

One day was devoted to discovering the history of the immediate area. We visited the manor house in Stryszów, where we admired the exhibition “The interiors of the Polish manor in the 19th century”. The exhibition presents the typical interior of a 19th century country manor house. The manor house itself – although small, stuck in our memory as a truly charming place.

Unfortunately, three days passed quickly and our camp came to an end. Despite the autumn weather, which brought us rain on the day of our departure, everyone left in good spirits, retaining fond memories.

3A2 language camp

Class 3a2 returned from the language camp in Piwniczna-Kosarzyska under the care of Fr. Łukasz Bugała, prof. Ewa Lubińska (educator) and prof. Katarzyna Płazy.

A scientific and integration trip to Koninki, grade 1 E – 15-16.10.2013.

As full-fledged students of our high school, the day after the vow we set off for Koninki. The journey by coach passed very quickly, and on the spot it turned out that there was no coverage, so we were stuck with ourselves. The weather was beautiful, so we went for a walk with our guide, who even took us to the Astronomical Observatory. However, the biggest attraction at the Observatory turned out to be our protective Tesco mesh shoes. We didn’t feel tired, and apparently we even walked about 17 km. However, the hunger was already felt, so we rushed to dinner. Unfortunately, the lessons had to take place that day, but in the evening we baked sausages to the sounds of the guitar, and then there was a karaoke evening. Full of impressions, we went to sleep quickly and the new day greeted us with rain.

3D class at the science camp in Kosarzyska – 1-4.10.2013.

From October 1 to October 4, the 3D class was at a science camp in Kosarzyska. We visited the mineral water pump room in Piwniczna and many tourist routes, admiring the beautiful landscapes of hills and forests. Every day we also explored the knowledge of mathematics and physics. In the evenings, it was time for rest and integrating games.

In a nice atmosphere, class 3A improves their English language, reflects on the symbolism of Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz’s stories and fights with the logarithmic function. The magnificent mountain landscape provides the perfect setting for creative work, also outdoors, when wrapped in blankets, we learn on the terrace.

Science camp 3e

Polish, English, history, knowledge of society in the mountains …

In October, we went to a five-day integration camp in Kościelisko near Zakopane. They were taken care of by brave teachers, prof. Fedan, Płaza and prof. Hańderek and Sokalski. We spent our days studying, walking and fierce sports games;)

3h class – research camp in Piwniczna

10-12. October 2011

3h class, research camp in Piwniczna

Prof. Teresa Lityńska – Konieczny, Prof. Agata Jaszczur

“The final exam is ahead of us” – this is the motto of our trip. Admittedly, not very encouraging. J But these are only appearances. It worked out great, to the satisfaction of everyone (read: teachers, students, employees of the holiday center). In Iskra (this is the name of the guesthouse) it is very pleasant – although it sounds like an advertisement, it is worth taking the risk and announcing to everyone that there is a place in Kosarzyska where they give you a solid meal, have a good rest and learn a little more. And we learned Polish and mathematics. In the evenings, we watched films – one was supposed to be an incentive to read Ferdydurke. Has it happened? Everyone has to judge the screening himself.

Man does not live by bread alone, I wanted to say, not by science alone … We all understood it, hence the “walk” to the center of Piwniczna, a journey after which we returned exhausted. Quite a long way. We refreshed ourselves with water drunk in the pump room – the cellar is said to have a great effect on the stomach and all other parts of the digestive system. In the evening, we eagerly sat around the fire. On the second day we got to know Stary Sącz – the town square, the convent of Poor Clares founded by Saint Queen Kinga, the papal altar, that is the trace of the pilgrimage of John Paul II.

Three very successful days !!!
