Krakow Youth Olympics handball – November 9, 2017
On November 9, 2017, students of the Secondary School No. 6 in Krakow participated in the handball qualifiers of secondary schools, as part of the Krakow Youth Olympics. In the first match, they competed with II LO, having great chances of winning, because the level of the teams was very even. We played the second match with the tactically well-prepared team of the Gastronomy School Complex No. 1 in Krakow.

A great example of sports fighting could be seen at the KOM competition in girls handball. The best teams of Krakow schools competed on the floor of the sports hall of the Com-Com Zone Development Center. Students of High School no. 6 presented their best in new white T-shirts.
The fight among all the teams was very fierce and provided a lot of emotions. The six showed from the very beginning that they will count in this competition. The whole team displayed great fighting spirit. The youth proved that they can have fun and compete healthy. In a sports atmosphere and in accordance with the principles of “Fair-play”, we finally took the sixth place and are in the forefront.

For the first time in the history of High School No. 6, girls won gold as part of the Krakow Youth Olympics of upper secondary schools and were promoted to voivodeship competitions. In the elimination, among others, they defeated the favorites: High School No. III and ZSG 1. Winning all matches pleases the whole community of High School No. 6. A commemorative cup, medal and diploma will enrich our high school’s trophies. Finally, the title of CHAMPION OF KRAKOW for High School no.
