On April 27, 2019, volunteers of the Secondary School No. 6 in Krakow took part in the organization and service of the accompanying event – Run on Rollers, around Błonia Krakowskie. As every year, as part of cooperation with the Sports Infrastructure Management Board, the students of the “six” support athletes during various running events. This time, the weather did not spoil us, but the most important were: good humor and motivation to act, which were the source of the triumphant inline skaters.

On Wednesday, February 6, together with class 1D, we went to the ice rink in Jordan Park as part of the PE lesson. Going out together was an opportunity to spend time actively and integrate in the class. Some of us were able to improve our skating skills, while others took our first steps. The good weather and nice atmosphere guaranteed a good time. We would like to thank Mrs. Magdalena Włodarczyk and Mr. Marcin Rozmarynowski for going out together and having a nice time.

A brilliant and spectacular performance of the VI LO in Alpine Skiing !!!

On February 12, 2019 in Siepraw, the Krakow Alpine Skiing Championships took place. The competition was attended by: 16 women’s and 19 men’s teams.

The Alpine Ski Championship was won individually by the riders of the VI LO !!! GOLD FOR THE BEST OF THE “Six” !!!

Natalia Adamowska (2a1) won the first place with a time of 20,028, beating her rival by 0.2 seconds.

Kuba Wójtowicz (2a1) won the Krakow Championship with a difference of 0.004 seconds! – descent time: 19.326 sec.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS for skills, professionalism and high sports level!

Natalia and Kuba will represent High School No. 6 in provincial competitions.

Equally a great success is the participation and winning as a team by girls and boys: 4th place among the schools of Krakow. This success was due to the results obtained by the representation of the 6th Secondary School in the composition:

Volunteering in sport – the 1st Gala of Sport Volunteering in Krakow.

On December 5, 2018, the 1st Volunteering Gala was held at the facilities of the TS Wisła Stadium in Krakow. It was attended by volunteers invited by the Sports Infrastructure Management Board in Kraków, volunteers of several-year editions of the Royal Half Marathons and the PZU Cracovia Marathon. The date of the meeting was not chosen by chance, because it is on this day that World Volunteer Day is celebrated.

VI High School in Krakow was represented by the most persistent: Emilia Kryus, Beata Czarnik, Weronika Żyła, Zuzanna Rabiej, Karolina Kałdos, Dagmara Wilk, Karolina Trela, Anna Zuba, Paulina Maj and Adrian Walicki. Students of the “six” received thanks for their 2-year contribution to voluntary work for ZIS in Krakow.

On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, during the PE lesson with class 1A1A2, we went to the skating rink at the Krakow gallery. Despite the frost, we had a nice and active time, everyone finished the classes.

Hello students!

We come to you with a photo report from the tournament “Two banks of the Vistula”.

The fight was very fierce. Our representatives managed to win in volleyball (2-0 in sets), but unfortunately we did not do well with basketball (25-24 for LO IV) and in football (4-0 for LO IV).

Both the representatives of both schools and the fans should be applauded. The level of the game was at a very high level, and the fervent doping effectively supported and raised the players’ morale.

On November 28, 2018, the boys’ representation of High School No. 6 took part in the Krakow Badminton Championship as part of the Secondary School. Despite a fierce fight and a good game, she did not manage to win a significant place.

Recently, the students of our school compete in creativity and their creativity exceeds the wildest expectations of teachers.

 

The victory of the VI High School in the Relay Run for the Saber of Capt. Antoni Stawarz

The representation of the 6th High School had a historic success taking 1st place in the Relay Run for the Saber of Capt. Antoni Stawarz, organized as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Krakow from the partition of power and the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence.

This year’s 20th jubilee edition of the run was attended by 21 secondary schools, which on October 31, 2018 at the WKS Wawel sports club stadium in Krakow fought a fierce battle at a distance of 4×800 m for victory in this very prestigious run.

For the victory, the representatives of the VI High School received the award from the President, prof. Jacek Majchrowski, a symbolic saber – the Award of the Chairman of the City Council of Krakow, a voucher for PLN 3,000 for the purchase of sports equipment for High School No. 6 and valuable individual prizes. The ceremonial decoration ceremony was held in the Podgórze Market Square in Krakow.

The representatives of High School No. 6 achieved great success during the Athletics Championships of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship held in Tarnów on October 23, 2018. The entire team won a set of medals.

Anna Kapustka 1st place (400m), Jakub Bakalarz 1st place (400m) and Aleksandra Belowska 3rd place (200m).

On October 22, 2018, the representation of Secondary School No. 6, consisting of: Aleksandra Rajzer, Aneta Kapała, Zofia Sołtys, Kamil Zdeb, Mateusz Błaszak, took part in the Junior High School in Team Table Tennis, organized in the XXXLO gym in Krakow. The girls who defeated in the first part of the games: High School No. 13, High School XXVIII, Salesian Lo, High School No. 3 and High School VII deserve special mention. The key match was the match against High School No. VIII, which ultimately resulted in the representatives of the “six” winning 4th place among 16 Krakow teams.

The area of activity was the service of a nutritional point, located on the 15 km run, near the Church on Skałka. SUCCESS OF ATHLETES VI LO

During the 1st throw competition of the school athletics league held on 27/09/2018, the athletes of the High School No. 6 won 2 gold medals: Jakub Bakalarz 400 m, Anna Kapustka 400 m, silver medal Aleksandra Belowska 100 m and bronze medal 4×100 m relay (Emilia Celary, Justyna Klimczyk, Aleksandra Belowska, Anna Kapustka).

The women’s representation was ranked high, 5th in the general classification of schools. Congratulations to the entire team and we wish you continued success.
