I invite all students to workshops devoted to translating poetry from English into Polish. As in previous years, classes are organized in agreement with the Institute of English Philology of the Jagiellonian University, and will be conducted by Dr. Agata Hołobut. We will deal with the poetry of Michael Ondaatje, who is perhaps known to you as the author of the famous novel “The English Patient.” The workshop will take place on December 12, 2016, in room 207, at 4:00 p.m. and will last 90 minutes.
I cordially invite everyone who is passionate about the English language and those who would like to become translators in the future. The number of places is limited. If you are willing, please confirm your participation via the electronic journal or in person in room 208.
