17 III 2017 VI Lyceum was visited by prof. dr hab. Zdzisław Noga, head of the Department of Archives and Auxiliary Sciences of History at the Pedagogical University in Krakow. Our guest gave a lecture entitled “The functioning of the city in the Old Polish period on the example of Krakow”. Students from grades 2C, 2E and 2F who implemented the history curriculum at the advanced level got acquainted with the origins of the location of Krakow, its consequences for the spatial arrangement of the city and the functioning of municipal authorities in the Old Polish period. There was a short discussion after the lecture.
