On April 7, 2017, the regional stage of the E (x) plory Science Competition took place in Wrocław.
Two works from our school qualified for this stage:
Oliwia Krzemień and Bartek Biesiadecki from 2a1 – Identification of leukocyte esterase in urine for early detection of urinary tract infection in children and infants
Pola Pawlikowska with 1b and Jakub Chmura with 2a1 – The use of earthworms to assess soil quality
The work of Oliwia and Bartek has been accredited to the national stage, which will take place in Gdynia in September.
It is a huge success for our students! Competition was fierce. Students can obtain a patent for a developed method.
We wish the authors of our second work success next year!
All participants of the regional stage and those wishing to take part in the Competition next year may obtain research internships in various laboratories.
