On March 16, 2016, the 6th high school hosted Dr. Maria Nowina-Konopka, a researcher at the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University. Our expert gave a lecture on “The 12 Sins of Media”. The participants were students of classes 2C, 2E, 2F and 2G who implement the curriculum of knowledge about society at the advanced level. Our expert acquainted students with the functioning of modern media, their influence on public opinion and the dangers of journalistic mistakes. There was a short discussion after the lecture.
