On April 5, 2017, the VI Lyceum was visited by Łukasz Słoniowski, MA, Chairman of the Education Committee of the Krakow City Council. After the introduction of the introductory words by the Head of the VI Lyceum, Dr. Czesław Wróbel, our guest gave a lecture entitled “Local government in the Republic of Poland”. The participants got acquainted with the organization, tasks and financing of the local government at the municipal level on the example of the Municipality of Krakow. The lecture was attended by students of high school graduation classes 3A / 2, 3F, inter-departmental groups 3G / 3H / 2, who implemented a curriculum for knowledge about society at an advanced level, and class 1B as a guest.
