On February 22, class 2a1 met with Mrs. Persia Walker, a US consul, journalist and writer, who introduced students to the activities of the African-American Black Lives Matter movement. This movement deals with the fight for the equal rights of people of different races around the world. The consul told the stories of people who were treated unfairly, only because of the color of their skin, and encouraged reflection on human rights, which are often violated despite loud declarations.
