Szlachetna Paczka is a nationwide project to help people in need – our school, led by Professor Marcin Mikruta, once again became involved in this action. We prepared a package for a family of six – Mrs. Beata, Mr. Adam and their children: Oskar, Kacper, Nikola and Alan.
Thanks to the generosity of students, parents and teachers, we managed to collect and purchase all the necessary products, including wall unit and desk for children, sports outfits for Alan and Kacper, who train acrobatics. The packages also included many other necessary things, including, of course, toys and games that children liked especially.
On Friday, December 9, class 2f packed the gifts to the accompaniment of Christmas songs. On Saturday, on the final day of the campaign, we made every effort to finish the package with the last button. Then we took it to the warehouse, from where it went straight into the hands of the family.
Szlachetna Paczka in our school was a complete success – the recipients were very happy and grateful, the children were very happy to unpack, not to mention the contents of Christmas packages. The action would have failed, however, had it not been for the mobilization of the entire school community. We would like to thank all donors and volunteers for their help and the work they put into preparing the package. We hope to participate in this initiative again next year.
