Oliwia Krzemień and Bartek Biesiadecki won the third place in the national final of the E (x) plory Science Competition in Gdynia. They presented a paper on: Identification of leukocyte esterase in urine for the early detection of urinary tract infection in children and infants. As a reward, they received a scholarship of PLN 5,000.
Oliwia and Bartek also won additional awards – two mentoring scholarships. They will also represent Poland in the international MILSET Expo -Science competition in July next year.
