Trip to Scotland

On the 10th of March, classes 3M1 and 3M2 from our school began their journey to Scotland. Our first stop was the beautiful capital of the Netherlands – Amsterdam. We visited the Van Gogh Museum and walked the streets of the stunning city. Then our group got on the ferry that took us to Newcastle. On the ferry there was a buffet where everybody could find something delicious to eat. From Newcastle we took the bus and drove to Stirling where we spent most of our nights. We visited Stirling Castle – one of the most important castles in Scotland. The next day we explored Edinburgh, visited the Royal Yacht Britannia and had a fun time in the dungeons. We had to rest before the excursion which we went on the 5th day – the Highlands – which were the highlight of the entire trip. We hiked to a beautiful waterfall and saw the famous Glenfinnan Bridge from the Harry Potter movies. The next day we drove to the city of Oxford where we had a guided tour by university students. Our next stop was London – the capital of the United Kingdom, where we had a busy day of sightseeing. First we visited the Science Museum and then the Natural History Museum. We travelled by metro throughout the city, which was a fascinating experience. The guides took us to see the most important places in London, such as Westminster Abbey,  Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and more. We spent our free time in Chinatown, famous for its tasty food. Our journey ended on the 17th of March with a trip through the Eurotunnel and back to Krakow. This was an incredible trip full of adventures, laughter and many great memories, which will certainly stay with us forever.
