On March 19 and 29, we once again hosted Spanish youth staying in Poland on behalf of Asociación Pro Tradición y Cultura Europea (APTCE). This year we hosted groups from Alicante and Valencia. Students from bilingual classes with Spanish met with them.
The APTCE association, whose founder and leader is Don Alvaro Enrique de Villamor y Soraluce, has for years been involved in, among other things, the protection of historic buildings and the promotion of cultural heritage by organizing joint international projects involving historic youth expeditions. Enrique de Villamor is the initiator of establishing thematic historical routes that affect the development of tourism. Organizes study trips of Spanish youth to Poland and introduces them to the history of our country. In 2018, Álvaro Enrique de Villamor was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland. This distinction was awarded in recognition of his merits in popularizing Polish culture and history.
