Integration trip 2B and 2C

Gallery

On September 28th, two bilingual classes- 2B and 2C went on an integration trip to Nowy Wiśnicz and Frankówka Mała. First, we visited the castle in Wiślicz and then went to Frankówka Mała. There, we took part in a cooking class in which we had an opportunity to  learn how to make Polish dumplings – ‘pierogi’. The weather was outstanding that day. Thanks to that, the students of both classes were able to play volleyball and catch some of what might be the last rays of sunshine of the year. Of course, as on every good trip, there was a bonfire. Everyone returned home happy.

Meeting with the Danes

It was just another typical Tuesday, or so we thought. Soon enough we would be in the lecture hall on the third floor speaking with the Danes who decided to take a peek at our school.

We introduced our schools and started talking between each other in small groups. We talked about how our education systems are different and about casual things like after-school activities and how even that was way different in these two geographically close nations.

The Danes were a delight. Talking with them proved to be very fun.

Our Scottish experience

On October 1st students from our school had a rare opportunity to welcome a guest from Scotland, who came to give an informal lecture on Scottish history and culture. He also talked about traditional Scottish holidays and celebrations such as the Hogmanay or Burn’s Night. We learnt a lot about the relations between Scotland and England throughout the ages, and even about some historical ties between Scotland and Poland.

Odczytaliśmy razem fragmenty Pieśni I i III Piekła.
