PERFORMANCE OF THE ROYAL SORO ACADEMY CHOIR IN DENMARK – 5.03.2018

On March 5, 2018, we hosted a Danish choir at our school, which presented a wonderful concert of traditional songs.

He cooperates with the Academy in Soro VI High School thanks to the involvement of Prof. Bożena Arendt for over twenty years. This time, the meeting with the Danes was an opportunity to exchange artistic experiences. We hope that a great performance will inaugurate musical and theatrical meetings between our schools.

there will be class meetings for parents of third-year students

and an open day for other parents of our school’s students.

WORKSHOPS WITH JUGEND DEBATTIERT

We cordially invite students of DSD groups on the coming Tuesday, i.e. 06/03/2018 from 8:00 – 10:45 to the workshops preparing for the Jugend debattiert international competition.

They will be led by Magdalena Bąk, an experienced trainer and juror of JDI.

School volleyball league is over

On March 6, 2018, the last game of the Volleyball Tournament at High School No. 6 in the 2017/2018 school year was played. 12 participants took part in the competition; nearly 80 students. The qualifying rounds included the first classes: 1a1, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1g, and the second classes: 2a1, 2a2, 2b, 2d, 2e, 2g, 2h. 3 mixed teams advanced to the finals.

In the 2017/2018 school year, the 2nd high school champion in volleyball was class 2d, 2nd place was taken by class 2g, and 3rd place was won by class 1b.

Lecture for Parents on Cyber Threats – 10/04/2018.

Dear parents

On April 10, 2018, at 5:00 p.m., in the auditorium on the third floor (p. 312), a meeting for parents will be held by Mr. Maciej Szmidt from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Krakow under the title: Cyber threats.

The meeting will focus primarily on new threats to which young people are increasingly exposed, related to the use of the Internet, the progress of digitization and the development of social networks.

Football tournament as part of the AGH-UST event for sports

The representation of the 6th High School participated on April 13, 18 in the football tournament as part of the “AGH for sport” event and took the fourth place in it.

Cake fair – April 15, 2018

On April 15, 18, the students of Secondary School no. 6 organized a cake fair, the proceeds of which will go to the Hospice of St. Lazarus. Many thanks go to the young people involved in the campaign, their parents and teachers who supported us with their baking.

We also thank the hospitable priests Canons, who allowed us to collect at the Corpus Christi Basilica, provided tables, provided all kinds of help and effectively advertised our campaign.
