On April 5, 2019, classes 2g and 2h participated in math workshops for young financiers at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Economics in Krakow. As part of the workshop, we listened to the following lectures:
“ABC of investments” (Dr. A. Denkowska, Dr. G. Kosiorowski) “Measurement of market risk with the use of value at risk” (MA J. Mokrzycka), “Option strategies – what is worth knowing about them?” (Dr. A. Rygiel), “With loans for your brother” (mgr G. Szulik). We compared the offers of various banks regarding deposits, loans, constructed option contracts and measured the market risk. it will certainly help us choose a field of study.
