MARCH PREMIERES OF THE SCHOOL THEATER

As every year, we invite you to the premieres. This year we have prepared 3 performances:

PROSCENIUM

“Backpackerzy”

23 March 2018 (Friday) 17.00

Directed by: Marlena Maciejewska and Kalina Dębska
based on Mateusz Pakuła’s play “The Sorrows of the Tropics”

Occur:
Gabriela Adamczyk, Zuzanna Czopik, Anna Gonera, Karolina Grzywa, Kamila Kowalczyk, Anastazja Kowalska, Ola Lachowicz, Hanna Olejniczak, Zuzanna Radek, Karol Augustyniak, Wiktor Dębski, Mikołaj Dziwosz, Szymon Martewicz, Hubert Sopata

The performance uses strobe light

Every day we hear wise thoughts: about Europe, about various people, events … Thoughts thrown out by the television like machine gun bullets. We live in a world of endless information, news and stories that often bring nothing to our lives. However, we must exist among them, and we often unknowingly submit to their stupid actions, accepting them uncritically. The performance Backpackers is a kind of advertisement of human being lost in the realities of today. Seemingly, each of us wants to be the most beautiful, intelligent, cheerful, most interesting. Everyone wants to be a star. We think about life selfishly, accepting the tragedies that coexist with us every day, but distant. In the performance we want to show a farce about the life of a Western man who, despite so many stars around him, still in darkness and silence, looks at the stars and feels his fragility in the greatness of the world.

PROSCENIUM JUNIOR

“Boys”

March 22, 2018 (Thursday), 17.00

based on the novel by Władysław Reymont “Chłopi”

Agata Myszka, Weronika Bandrzewska, Aniela Turkot, Sylwia Odrobina, Ola Chojnacka, Tośka Bętkowska, Julka Bernacka, Maja Kowalska, Daniel Gawlik, Dawid Kamiński, Wojciech Szczuka

One day, when it will be possible to love a woman not in her weakness, but strongly, not to run away from herself, but to find herself, not to humiliate herself, but to express herself – on that day love will become for her, as well as for a man , the source of life and will cease to be a mortal danger. Meanwhile, love represents in its most tangible form the curse that falls on a woman who is limited in the woman’s world, a woman who is damaged, not sufficient for herself (Simone de Beauvoir)

The debut of two art classes is a kind of fairy tale for adults. Brilliant dialogues, language games and absurd situations perfectly reflect the contemporary reality in which laughter is intertwined with tears, and the gray world is mixed with the magic of fairy tales …

Spring premieres of the school theater! – 1.04.2016

Last Friday was marked by debuts in High School No. 6. At 4 p.m., zero minutes, our school lecture room was boiling – the multitude of guests and the prospect of the upcoming performance created a wonderful, artistic atmosphere.

The opening of the festival season was graced by a speech by Dr. Marlena Maciejewska – director, screenwriter and guardian of both theater groups – motivating for the actors, and introducing for the guests.

We started our theatrical odyssey with our debut debuts – the performance “The Journey” from the still modest repertoire of the Proscenium Junior group. The story, kept in the atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s, allowed viewers to move into the realities of the interwar period, recall old hits, or enjoy playing with the Tuwim convention.

After a short break – an exceptional event – a performance of the Proscenium Theater – or “Studniówka 82” – a story inspired by the memories of graduates of the 1980s from their school years. A group of high school students decide to organize an illegal party at the house of a communist’s son, while at the same time betraying the PRL system. Full of laughter and emotions, another musical journey that evening guaranteed the actors a storm of applause and standing ovation. Emotions really “reached their zenith”!

WE INVITE YOU SOON FOR ANOTHER PERFORMANCES !!!
