Kin-Ball- a fun activity in physical education classes
It is a team game originating in Quebec, Canada, the main feature of which is a large ball with a diameter of 122 cm. Matches are played between three or more teams at the same time. Players participate in the game equally, no one stands aside and is not overlooked. The recipes are very easy and you don’t need a lot of skill to start playing. Kin-Ball develops physical fitness, reflexes and, above all, cooperation, because each participant must take an active part and be active.

KWS = CONDITION + ENDURANCE + STRENGTH – 6.04.2016
Please visit the photo gallery
On April 6, 2016, the competition KWS = CONDITION + ENDURANCE + STRENGTH took place in the Electrical School Complex No. 1 at ul. Kamieńskiego 49 in Krakow.
This is the fourth edition of the KWS Krakowski Wieliczka Strength Youth sports competition. The name KWS should also be read as (K) stamina + (W) endurance + (S) strength.
The idea of creating the competition was born in 2012 and since then the event has been enjoying growing interest. The competition is played over two days. Competitors from lower secondary schools start on the first day, and from upper secondary schools on the second day. The players compete against each other in three game zones. The team competing in KWS consists of three players. Each of them must show great determination and will to fight. Competitors must have a condition, endurance and strength preparation. These parameters are not easy to train and do not always go hand in hand.
But our players from High School No. 6 each year manage to achieve better and better results.
In 2014, we won the 5th place, in 2015 we achieved the honorable 2nd place, and in this school year 2016 we won the 3rd medal place!
This year, most schools participated, not only from Krakow, but also from the surrounding area, there were a total of 14 of them.
The boys prepared for the competition under my care, diligently, with passion and head.
They practiced hard and the result they achieved is impressive!
In addition to the honorable third place, the players in the composition:
Mirosław Tyl, Dawid Wincenciak and Patryk Fryda, coach: Paweł Zgud
they received a lot of gifts in the form of: martial arts tickets, gym tickets, fitness classes and prizes.
It only increases the appetite for next year’s competition and of course winning the best place!
Because competitions are getting higher and higher in Krakow between upper secondary schools and each school is distinguished by participating in them.
So nothing but congratulations to the boys for their beautiful result and for their willingness to play sports, because not all of them sit for hours at the gym but practice a variety of sports from football, cross fit, swimming, martial arts, cycling and many more to be versatile and athletic.
Paweł Zgud
A victory in the final round of the Qualifying Volleyball Tournament for the SKS League
The victory in the final round of the Qualifying Volleyball Tournament for the SKS Boys League from High School No. 6 allowed for the selection of two teams from Krakow – including our team from High School No. 6, which were promoted to the SKS 1st league for the next year 2016/2017
The boys have been actively and systematically taking part in SKS organized by trainer Paweł Zgud for 3 years.
The hard work and effort paid off, because for the first time in many years, the school’s volleyball team won the Qualifiers in their group and qualified for the Finals!
As the winners of the group, they got the opportunity to take part in the Final with the best teams from Krakow Upper Secondary Schools and they won it !!! Without losing a single match.
In this way, this year and the 2015/2016 school semester we entered the 1st League as the first of two teams !!! And we had to face twelve, so we couldn’t have dreamed of a better result!
In this way, in a year’s time, we will participate in the games of Kraków’s high schools in the First Volleyball League!
On my behalf, I would like to thank the boys, players and also my students, whom I now want to mention:
Maciej Krzyżanowski, Mirosław Tyl, Filip Frosztęga, Patryk Nguyen, Daniel Nataniemc, Kamil Nosek, Maks Kopczyński, Karol Strzeboński and Karol Bzdyl
They gave a really great example that with systematic work and effort put into the game and training, you can reach the first place and Win!
I invite everyone willing to participate in SKS volleyball classes, which I am organizing, because in the new school year it will take even more work and effort to stay in the Premier League!
Congratulations to the team again !!!

The new season of girls handball has started! The girls did a great job. The inaugural matches ended with a certain advance to the semi-finals. The players of the Six cannot be denied their ambition and will to fight. Fierce rivalry and the will to win caused extraordinary emotions. It was not only fun, but also learning and a great way to show your sports skills. While waiting for further successes, we congratulate the competitors.
