SCHOOL FOR PARENTS – information, registration

Psychological and pedagogical help provided to a student consists in recognizing and satisfying his individual development and educational needs, as well as identifying individual psychophysical abilities and environmental factors influencing his functioning at school, in order to support the developmental potential of the student and create conditions for full participation in school life and in the environment. social.

The need for assistance results, inter alia, from behavioral or emotional disorders, specific learning difficulties, a chronic disease, crisis or traumatic situations, educational failures, environmental negligence related to the living situation of the student and his family, the way of spending free time and environmental contacts, adaptation difficulties related to cultural differences or changes in the educational environment, including those related to prior education abroad.

Psychological and pedagogical help provided at school to parents of students and teachers consists in supporting parents and teachers in solving educational and didactic problems and developing their educational skills in order to increase the effectiveness of assistance provided to students.

The use of psychological and pedagogical help is voluntary and free of charge.

Psychological and pedagogical support in our school is provided by teachers, tutors, school psychologist, school pedagogue and career counselor.

Psychological and pedagogical help is provided on the initiative of: a student; student’s parents; the school head; a teacher, tutor or specialist, conducting classes with the student; school nurse; counseling; a social worker; family assistant; probation officer, non-governmental organization, other institution or entity acting for the benefit of the family, children and youth

We are pleased to announce the possibility of referring people in need of specialist early help to the newly opened, financed by the city of Krakow, free CONSULTATION POINT for parents with school-age teenagers who may have problems using psychoactive substances.

It is possible to take advantage of free consultations with addiction psychotherapy specialists as part of the CONSULTATION POINT for parents and adolescents (aged 10-18).

Consultations (in the number of 1 – 10) are intended for parents who are concerned about their children taking risky behaviors related to the use of alcohol and other psychoactive substances.

At the Consultation Point, there are psychologists and educators – certified addiction psychotherapy specialists, educating in psychotherapy of children and adolescents.
Parents with children or the parents themselves may participate in the consultation.

For people consulted as part of the Consultation Center and interested in continuing their work, there is a possibility of free participation in a psychoeducational group for parents with children.

in Krakow, at ul. Wójtowska 3, 1st floor, room 31,
in the dates: Monday and Tuesday – hours. 16 – 20, Saturday 10-14

The Consultation Point is run by the Krakow Association of Addiction Therapists as part of the project entitled “Safer in the family …”.
The public task is co-financed by the City of Krakow.
