On February 7, 2019, the school stage of the 12th edition of the Beautiful Reading Competition took place in the school library.

Success in the 11th edition of the Małopolska Competition of Beautiful Reading

Congratulations

Aleksander Szewczyk from class 1C obtained the title of Vice-Champion of Reading

in the justification, the jury wrote: for a thoughtful, expressive interpretation, exemplary diction and perfect form.

and Aleksandra Chojnacka from class 2E obtained a Distinction in the 11th edition of the Małopolska Competition of Beautiful Reading.

The ceremonial gala and the presentation of diplomas and prizes will take place on March 28, 2018 at 10.00 at WBP ul. Rajska 1

Aleksandra Chojnacka with class 1e Master of Reading

in the 10th edition of the Małopolska Competition of Beautiful Reading

Congratulations to Aleksandra Chojnacka from class 1e on obtaining the title of MASTER OF READING in the 10th edition of the Lesser Poland Reading Competition.

49 people participated in the competition in the category of upper secondary schools. Ola obtained the title of MASTER ex aequo with Aleksandra Mrozowska from the XIII Secondary School in Krakow.

In the jury’s opinion, both participants were the best in their age category in every respect.

The jury consisted of:

The organizers of the 10th Małopolska Competition of Beautiful Reading are: the Society of Teachers of Librarians of Polish Schools, Branch in Kraków, and the Provincial Public Library in Kraków.

The honorary patronage over the competition was taken by:

Jacek Krupa- Marshal of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship,

Jacek Majchrowski – Mayor of the City of Krakow,

Barbara Nowak – Małopolska Superintendent of Education

Dorota Segda Rector of the State Higher School of Theater in Krakow.

The ceremonial gala during which the diplomas and awards will be presented will be held on March 29, 2017 at 10.00 at the Lending Room and Workshop for Children of the Provincial Public Library in Krakow, ul. Rajska 1

in the 9th edition of the Małopolska Competition of Beautiful Reading

The organizers of the 9th Małopolska Beautiful Reading Contest are: the Society of Teachers of Librarians of Polish Schools, Branch in Kraków, and the Provincial Public Library in Kraków.

The honorary patronage over the competition was taken by:

The Małopolska Superintendent of Education and

prof. dr hab. Ewa Kutryś – Rector of the State Higher School of Theater in Krakow

Auditions of the winners of the school qualifications took place on March 2, 2016 at the Provincial Public Library in Krakow, ul. Rajska 1.

The auditions in the category of upper secondary schools were assessed by a jury composed of:

Chairperson: Katarzyna Grzesiak, employee of the Provincial Public Library in Krakow

Anna Czepiec – Mączka, member of TNBSP, Krakow Branch

Aldona Kruk, employee of the Provincial Pedagogical Library

Maciej Słota, film, theater and television actor

Paulina Sobiś, student of the State Higher School of Theater

The jury selected the Master of Reading, who became a student of our high school, Jakub Jakubiec, from class 2C

Jury’s reasoning: For clear diction, very good pronunciation, the ability to use the voice, preparing the text and presenting it in a coherent, communicative manner.

The diplomas and awards were presented on March 16, 2016 at 10.00 at the Lending Room and Workshop for Children of the Provincial Public Library in Krakow, ul. Rajska 1

During the final of the competition, the Reading Masters read the prepared fragments.

 

9th edition of the Małopolska Beautiful Reading Competition – school stage – 11/02/2016

Kuba Jakubiec from class 2C and Szymon Martewicz from class 1E will represent our high school in the 9th edition of the Małopolska Beautiful Reading Competition at the interschool stage, which will be held on March 2, 2016 at the Provincial Public Library in Krakow, ul. Rajska 1.

This time the students were preparing a fragment of a piece about the beginnings of the Polish state

Kuba will read a fragment of Józef Ignacy Kraszewski’s Old Fairy Tale, and Szymon will read a piece by Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz, Bolesław the Brave.
