SCHOOL LIBRARY RULES
General provisions
- The school library can be used by students, teachers, school staff and parents.
- Readers have the right to use the library collections free of charge.
- The library makes its collections available during classes in accordance with the organization of the school year.
- The reader is materially responsible for the books they borrow.
- Keep the library quiet and orderly.
- Students may not use the book collection arbitrarily. It is forbidden to enter the shelves without the consent of the librarian.
Rental regulations
- The reader may borrow books only in his own name.
- You can borrow 3 books at a time:- reading for 2 weeks- other books for a period of 1 month (the reader can extend the borrowed books)
In justified cases, the librarian may limit or increase the number of borrowed books, stating the date
their return.
- The materials and studies needed to prepare presentations, papers, etc., are ordered by the student one day in advance.
- With regard to readers who keep books, borrowing is suspended until the outstanding items are returned.If a book is lost or damaged, it must be bought back. If the book is not available on the market, the reader is required to buy back the book indicated by the librarian
- All borrowed books should be returned 2 weeks before the end of the school year.Readers leaving the school (staff, students) are required to collect a certificate
confirming the return of materials borrowed from the library.
Regulations of the reading room
- The reading room can be used by students, teachers, school staff and parents.
- Those using the reading room must enter their visit book.
- Backpacks, coats and jackets cannot be brought into the reading room
- There is silence in the reading room and it is forbidden to eat
- In the reading room, you can use all the collections, i.e. reference books, magazines and the library’s collections.
- Reference books and periodicals can only be used on site
- The reader has free access to journals. He uses the reference collection through a librarian.
- Before leaving the reading room, read books should be returned to the librarian.
- The reading room is closed during the didactic classes.
Using computer stations
- Computers in the library are intended for educational purposes.
- Only installed programs can be used. It is forbidden to install other programs
and making changes to already existing software. - Computers may be used only with the consent of the librarian, after entering the visit book.
- Up to two people can stay at one computer station at the same time.
- Every student has the right to use the Internet, which should be used for educational purposes only.
- The user is financially responsible for any damage to the computer hardware and software caused by his fault.
If he is underage, the parents are responsible.
